TCI Commences New Rail Road Service
TCI has recently started a new weekly cargo train for speedy dispatch of goods from South to North East India. For this service, TCI has taken a cargo express train on lease for 3 years which has a capacity of 21 VP's (20 Parcel vans+1SLR) and can carry weight upto 468 tonnes. A door to door pick up & delivery will be provided .The average transit time for covering the distance will be reduced by 4-6 days; from 10-12 days by road to 5 days by rail. The service between Bengaluru and Guwahati will cover various states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and other North Eastern States. The first & last mile distribution will be done by TCI.

TCI Lounches JV for Rail Services
TCI has entered into a JV with CONCOR, which is the leader is domestic container transportation business. The joint venture entity-Infinite Logistics Solutions Pvt Ltd (ILSPL) would leverage on the extensive reach, infrastructure and assets of TCI and CONCOR to provide a cost effective, integrated and multimodal solution for container rail & road transportaion and warehouse & terminal management
